  • How do I get to Gravelfoyle?

Gravelfoyle (Aberfoyle) is a small village in the Trossachs. The village has a large free car park and is within an hour of Stirling and Glasgow. There are no train lines and buses aren’t frequent however if you prefer not to drive, catching a train to Stirling and pedaling in is the most efficient way to get to us.

What type of bike do I need?

So long as your bike is suitable for off-road cycling, you’re good to go. If you’re unsure, get in touch and we’ll happily give you pointers.

    Are E-Bikes OK?

Yes! We think E-Bikes are a fantastic tool for getting out on gravel so we absolutely endorse them.

    Do I need my helmet?

    ALWAYS. No helmet, no ride.

Do I need a bike computer?

We carry the mental load for you so you don’t need to bring any devices along with you.

    Should I bring tools?

You should bring your bike as if you were going on any other ride so yes, this should include at the very minimum a pump, tube and tyre levers. Don’t worry if you’re unsure of how to use them though, if we get any mechanicals we’ll help you and use it as an excuse to facilitate learning.

What if I need to cancel?

No refund will be offered if cancellation is within 48hrs of the scheduled course however we will do our very best to move you to a different session.

What if the weather is bad?

If the weather is particularly bad, we may have to cancel your session. We will reschedule at a later date.

Should I bring food and water?

Yes, it’s good practice to have some on your person when you ride so we encourage you to come to the sessions prepared too.

    Should I bring spare clothes?

We’re in Scotland so yes, bring an extra layer or 2!

    How many coaches per session?

We work with a 1 to 8 ratio of coaches to participants and even with fewer than 8 participants, we will likely have 2 coaches.

    How many guides per sessions?
